Skill Type: Footwork

Footwork is the base from which every player is required to start their Netball journey. The videos below demonstrate various footwork techniques, starting without a ball then progressing to receiving a pass. Footwork is a must for at least 10 minutes per training session.

Off The Line

All you need is two players, a ball and a line. Using the line as the push off point instead of a cone, the worker can change up the leads, e.g. diagonal or to the ball.

Between The Lines

Using a transverse line, sideline or a baseline, place about six cones creating another line so there is about three metres between the lines. Players start with half the group on the line and the others behind them so one group works and the others rest.
